PSYCHOLOGICAL EVALUATIONS
A Psychological evaluation is an assessment of an individual's behavior, personality, cognitive abilities, awareness, motivation, and other measurable components of a person's life. The main purpose for conducting psychological evaluations is to try and pinpoint what is happening in someone's psychological life that may be contributing to his/her current state of mind, behavior and feelings. Psychological evaluations are considered to be the mental equilivant of a physical examination. Through a psychological evaluation we seek to better understand a person's unique characteristics which can help to explain his/her current behaviors and help to predict furutre actions.
