PROJECT GRENADA
What is Project Grenada?
I was born and raised in the Village of Tivoli on the Island of Grenada where I spent all of my childhood. Upon completion of High School I worked as an Elementary School teacher in the village of my birth.
Project Grenada represents my efforts to give back to the community that helped nurtured me into the person whom I have become.
Project Grenada represents my efforts to give back to the community that helped nurtured me into the person whom I have become. Three ways I have chosen to invest in the community of my birth are:
-
Establish a scholarship fund which will be used to assist needy students
-
Initiate educational, training and motivational programs in the community
-
Implement a “back-pack” program for School aged children
You can Help
You can help make a difference in the life of an underprivileged child by donating to one of these projects. Each academic year we try to distribute 150 back-packs to students who moved on from elementary to High School. Each back pack is filled with School supplies (pens, pencils, notebook etc.) with an average cost of $50. See pics.
Please consider making a donation which will be utilized in any of the three ways (Scholarship fund, education or back-pack drive). The smile you will bring to one child and his/her family is priceless. On behalf of the many children and families of the community of my birth, I say thank you.
